Rent a Retro is a car rental company with a difference! We’re not interested in sitting you in the latest offerings from Germany, France or anywhere else for that matter - you can get that anywhere. What we offer is a truly unique experience.
We want you to get as passionate as we are about the era when cars were more about driving and less about assistance. When being a motorist meant so much more than
plipping a button on a fob,
slotting it into drive and
pressing the accelerator.
We feel that the 1950’s to early 1990’s offer petrolheads the real deal. Top Dog. The daddy. The Don. The creme de la creme. The cats whiskers. However you want to term it - this era was motoring nirvana. OK - so tin worm was still a minor issue (ahem) but think about it - much of the reliability issues of the 60’s had gone, cars actually looked appealing and different as design houses like Pininfarina showed their face, and cars would last years rather than months.
Now we’re not suggesting that you sell your current wagon. We appreciate that 12 airbags, ABS and everything else that has become the norm in the industry is important and necessary on our clogged up roads. But wouldn’t it be great to remember the car as just that - a car? Even just for one day. That is what we are offering. From humble beginings our ever increasing fleet of cars aims to each give you a unique experience.
